Scarlet to open in December

This December, 9Group brings a new sophisticated bar with an elaborate mixology program created by Francesco Lafranconi to the Palms Casino Resort with the opening of Scarlet. Scarlet will provide an intimate atmosphere and a select libation menu featuring top-shelf liquors, unique infused spirits, exclusive signature cocktails and much more.

“We’re excited to add another distinct concept to our collection of venues at Palms,” said Bronson Olimpieri, 9Group’s Vice President and General Manager. “Scarlet’s stylish vibe and unmatched offerings from Francesco are unlike anything seen at Palms before and will reflect the resort’s reenergizing transformation.”

The 200-square-foot Scarlet will be open nightly, providing a unique and special scene allowing guests to indulge in high-end beverage offerings in an intimate space adorned with sultry red accents, vibrantly contemporary lounging and chic décor. Delivering a speakeasy feel, Scarlet is subtly tucked away on Palms’ casino floor. The Scarlet addition is part of the $50 million first phase of our transformation.

Hugh Hefner and Marston Hefner celebrate their birthdays

Playboy Legend, Hugh Hefner and Son, Marston Celebrated their Birthdays at Palms Casino Resort, April 9

It was a packed house as fans and partygoers flooded the Palms Casino Resort to celebrate the birthdays of Playboy Founder, Hugh Hefner and his son, Marston Saturday night (April 9). The duo partied at premier nightlife destinations, Playboy Club followed by Moon Nightclub where they were presented with a two-tiered birthday cake, created exclusively by Caked Las Vegas Bakery. While Hefner turned 85-years-old, Marston celebrated his 21st birthday in true Sin City fashion and received the prestigious VIP Playboy Club key. Accompanying the men was a large entourage of 31 beautiful Playboy Playmates, including Hefner’s fiancée, Crystal Harris.

Hefner stayed in the luxurious two-story Hefner Sky Villa in the Palms Fantasy Tower.

BRITNEY SPEARS DELIVERS SURPRISE PERFORMANCES AS PART OF MTV SPECIAL INSIDE RAIN NIGHTCLUB AT PALMS CASINO RESORT

Las Vegas (March 25, 2011) – Palms Casino Resort welcomed Jive Records recording artist Britney Spears to Rain Nightclub for two surprise performances on Friday, March 25. The performances were filmed by MTV as part of an upcoming Britney Spears special that will air next week in celebration of her album release.

In front of more than a thousand fans, Spears delivered songs from her latest album, Femme Fatale including the singles, “Hold it Against Me,” “Till the World Ends” and “Big Fat Bass.”

“We are extremely excited to have one of the most iconic artists of all time back at the Palms. Britney’s performances were unbelievable and her fans will never forget this night,” said owner George Maloof. “We have a great relationship with MTV and feel fortunate to be a part of her upcoming special.”

This is not Spears’ first time performing in Rain Nightclub; she stunned fans with an unannounced performance in 2003.

DJ Pauly D, the exclusive Vegas resident DJ for the Palms, warmed up the crowd and kicked off the evening with his masterful beats and explosive sounds for club goers before Spears took the stage.

Femme Fatale is Spears’ seventh studio album and will be released on March 29.

The Palms Casino Resort and 9 Group just announced Pauly D as the latest exclusive resident DJ for Sin City’s hottest hotel brand. If your weekly dose of “Jersey Shore” isn’t enough, now can catch Pauly spinning live at Rain, Moon, and the Palms Pool & Bungalows throughout 2011.
