Wiz Khalifa, Lupe Fiasco Set To Heat Up MTV Spring Break In Las Vegas

Jersey Shore’s Pauly D DJs at the Palms, as Pitbull and Jason Derülo round out the lineup kicked it off March 6th.

This year’s hot acts include Wiz Khalifa, Pitbull, Lupe Fiasco and Jason Derülo. Joining the stellar set will be “Jersey Shore” star Paulie D who will handle the DJ duties. In addition to Pauly D, Deena Nicole Cortese will also be on hand for the fun, as she co-hosts the “Jersey Shore” 10 Spot party at MTV’s Spring Break 2011 in Las Vegas at the Palms.

The famed Palms Casino Resort is no stranger to MTV as they have partnered together to host some spectacular events in years past. MTV and The Palms Casino Resort hook ups include the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards, 2005’s “Summer on the Strip” and season 12 of the “Real World” in 2002 and 2005′s “Summer on the Strip.”

“Palms Casino Resort is thrilled to host MTV Spring Break 2011,” Palms owner George Maloof said in a statement. “MTV and Palms are creating the ultimate destination for thousands of college students to kick back and enjoy some much-deserved time off. Between the pool parties and the live performances, this should be a spring break experience like no other.”

MTV Spring Break 2011 is scheduled to run March 6 through March 9 and air on MTV, MTV2 and mtvU. The aforementioned artists join Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Eminem and the Notorious B.I.G. in the pantheon of standout MTV Spring Break performers.
