Yandel, a trailblazing Puerto Rican reggaetón artist, launched his solo career in 2014 after years of success as part of the duo Wisin y Yandel. His debut solo album De Líder a Leyenda topped Billboard’s Latin charts and earned Gold certification and a Latin Grammy nomination. He broke new ground by recording a TV special for HBO Latino and contributing to the Game of Thrones mixtape. His 2015 album Dangerous debuted at #1, and he became the first Latino artist to stream a live concert via Tidal. Yandel has collaborated with a wide range of global and Latin artists, including J-Lo, Bad Bunny, Ricky Martin, and Maluma, and has earned multiple accolades, including Latin Grammy Awards and BMI honors.

Continuing to innovate, Yandel reunited with Wisin in 2018 for a record-breaking tour and released several successful albums, including THE ONE, Los Campeones del Pueblo, and QUIEN CONTRA MI 2. His achievements include 16 #1 hits on Billboard’s Top Latin Airplay and numerous RIAA certifications. In 2022, he made history with 14 sold-out shows in Puerto Rico during the farewell tour La Última Misión. His 2023 album R3SISTENCIA earned Gold status, and in 2024, he received the TikTok "Legendary Impact Recognition" and Latin AMA Pioneering awards. That same year, he launched a sneaker line and performed a symphonic concert with FIU’s orchestra, further cementing his legacy as a genre-defining icon.
